In April 1906, when Dr. Sun Yat-sen returned to Singapore from Europe, he founded Singapore Branch of the Tung Meng Hui at Wan Qing Yuan to actively plan the revolutionary actions, which laid a foundation of national revolution in the South Pacific area.
