National Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall

Held together with the National Taiwan College of Performing Arts, Dr. Sun’s story is reconstructed in a new art style that merges traditional opera, Hakkas opera and Taiwanese opera. (Enjoy the play on 11/12 at 7:30 PM.)

On October 3rd at 2:30 PM, Mr. Tan Dun-ci will share the knowledge of how to avoid toxic substances for a healthier life style.

On September 28th, 1912, Dr. Sun set out from Jinan to visit Qingdao and look around the Deutsch-Chinesische Hochschule. He highly praised the harbor engineering, forest enterprise and higher education in this area. The picture was taken when Chinese Young Men’s Christian Association of Qingdao welcomed Dr. Sun and his wife Lu Mu-zhen.

In September 1917, Dr. Sun Yat-sen was elected Generalissimo by the R.O.C. Military Government. (The photo shows Dr. Sun taking office.)

Dressed in a robe, the poet’s grace and elegance as a recluse are clearly shown. (Ou Hao-nian’s calligraphy exhibition will be held at Chungshan National Gallery through September 22.)
