National Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall

Mr. Fujita Yoshihiro donated the ink-wash pieces, which were written by Chen Qi-mei and Liu Da-tong for his grandfather Mr. Fujita Reizou in the Chinese Revolutionary Party period, to the National Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall.

Brought by the Troupe of Jing Ju of National Taiwan College of Performing Arts, the short play represents the spirit of the healthy, lively and active young Dr. Sun. (In the main entrance corridor on 3/12 at 10:15 AM)

In memory of the 90th anniversary of Dr. Sun’s death, jointly the National Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, Academia Historica and Sun Yat-sen Academic & Cultural Foundation made the documentary “Never Ever to Give Up the Struggle: Dr. Sun Yat-sen’s Historic Journey to Northern China and His Untimely Death”. Now is the chance to watch it in the National Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall at 13:30 and 15:30 every afternoon from 3/12 to 3/30.

Dr. Sun and Mrs. Soong Ching-ling traveled north from Hong Kong by the ship Shunyo Maru on November 14th, 1924. (3/7 to 3/30 in the 2F West Culture Corridor and Life Aesthetic Space)

This work is inspired by the landscape principal Huang admired during his trip on a high speed rail. The painting presents a variation of gradations and aesthetics, especially the wonderful combination of its presentation and ambience.
