Penang Conference boosts morale

The Penang conference was a meeting held in Penang 404 Dato' Kramat Road on November 13, 1910, by Sun Yat-sen to plan a major revolt against the Qing Dynasty. It was followed shortly after by the Second Guangzhou Uprising, the successful Wuchang Uprising, and the Xinhai Revolution, which overthrew China's last imperial dynasty (the Qing Dynasty) and established the Republic of China (R.).
