“The most beautiful scene is the sunset.” Not only is it the most beautiful period in the course of life, but it is also the source of this artist’s inspiration (Dream Chasing, Dream Painting—Chiao Shih-tai 88 Retrospective Exhibition, on display at Chungshan National Gallery through August 13).
The saying that “If you feel hurt, it means the meridian system is impeded; if not, it is unimpeded” rings true for everyone. All diseases are derived from the meridian system. To cure any disease, it is fundamental to look at the meridian system. The “Medicine and Alternative Medicine Forum” was held on July 23 in the hope of familiarizing people with the Chinese Meridian System and traditional medicine. People from all walks of life were encouraged to attend the forum.
In its third year, the 2017 “Believing Love Charity Concert” called for more people to care about under privileged children in remote regions. The program included a variety of rock and roll. This brilliant performance took place on July 22 at National Dr. Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall.
On July 18 and 19, the Mongolian and Tibetan Affairs Commission invited Choying Dolma to perform the Vajrayana Buddhism tradition with the famous performing group U-Theatre. Through different performing styles that combine traditional and modern elements, bright sparkles were triggered.
Having worked for many important government agencies, Su Chi perceives the direct and real problems regarding the relationship between Taiwan and China and the dilemma for development. On July 16, he will share the current conditions of China and Taiwan and future developmental tendencies with the general public. All who are interested are invited to attend the lecture.
