The opening ceremony of “Original Dream: Cai Yi-Zhu Oil and Watercolor Painting Solo Exhibition” took place at Yat-sen Gallery on January 5. Before retirement, Cai was the famous English teacher of Jianguo High School. Many of his former students gathered at the opening ceremony, showing his high popularity.
The distinguished guests attending the opening ceremony and giving a speech included: President of Academia Sinica James C. Liao, Honorary Professor of Department of Fine Arts, NTNU, Jiang Ming-xian, chairman of COPS Su Xian-fa, principal of Taipei Municipal Jianguo High School Xu Jian-guo, former principal of Taipei Municipal Fuxing High School Chen Wan-fu, and our director-general Liang Yung-fei.
